Finding Evidence — Recognising Hype

Recognised activity for QPI

Finding Evidence — Recognising Hype is a case-based online learning program and is recognised as an activity for the Quality Prescribing Initiative (QPI) of the Practice Incentive Program. To receive a QPI payment, a practice is required, on average, to complete at least three activities per FTE GP in the QPI calculation period 1 May – 30 April. One of every three activities completed must be a clinical audit: the other two activities can be NPS educational visits or NPS case studies, which may include the Finding Evidence — Recognising Hype case-based online learning program.

GPs who complete Finding Evidence — Recognising Hype and wish to have their participation recorded for the QPI, will need to complete the online form in Section 8 of the topic page of Finding Evidence — Recognising Hype . The online form requires the GP's name, contact details, provider and prescriber numbers. GPs who complete the program before 30 April 2012 will have their participation recorded for QPI cycle 1 May 2011 to 30 April 2012.
